The Senior Vice President - EDGE Business Services will serve as the executive leader overseeing the strategic and operational management of the shared service center within our large group of companies. This role is equivalent to a CEO position, responsible for ensuring the delivery of exceptional and cost-effective services to all companies within the group. The SVP will lead diverse service functions including Human Capital, Finance, Information Technology, General Services, and Data Analytics, driving efficiency, innovation, and continuous improvement.

 

Strategic Leadership:

Develop and execute the strategic vision for EDGE Business Services, aligning with the overall goals and objectives of the group. Foster a culture of operational excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement across all service functions. Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leadership across the group to ensure alignment and support for shared services initiatives.

Operational Management:

Oversee the daily operations of the shared services center, ensuring high-quality service delivery across all functions. Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to enhance service efficiency and effectiveness. Monitor and manage service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure timely and accurate service delivery to all business units.

Financial Management

Oversee budgeting processes and ensure financial targets are met. Develop financial forecasts and manage cost controls. Ensure the SSC operates within budget and achieves profitability targets. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.

Technology and Innovation

Develop and implement an IT strategy that supports the SSC’s operations and future growth. Ensure the adoption of advanced technologies and tools. Encourage a culture of innovation. Identify and implement new technologies and practices to improve service delivery and efficiency.

Governance and Compliance

Identify and mitigate risks associated with the SSC’s operations. Implement robust risk management frameworks. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and corporate policies. Maintain high standards of corporate governance.

 

Education:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 18 - 20 years of relevant experience, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role within a shared services or operational environment.

Proven track record of successfully managing large, complex service functions and driving operational efficiencies.
