Key Accountabilities

• Design Electrical 3D CAD Parts & Detail 2D Drawings.
• Electronic Data-Pack responsibility for printed Circuit Board (PCB).
• Ensuring all Electronic related records are kept up to date and filed.
• Monitoring and upholding the standards of the drawing work produced.
• Including schematic capture, layouts and bill of material (BOM) generation.
• Mentoring and Assist all personnel with E-CAD Program and Wind-Chill PDM Link Program.
• Drawing office Project planning.
  • Resources are identified and individuals to understand their responsibility, authority, accountability and the procedures for performing E-CAD and 2D Drawings.
  • Oversee the Electrical Data-Pack Maintenance on various Projects. 
• Drawing office Data-Pack Identification.
  • This function is related to fully identifying the Assembly level of  a product, e.g numbering
• E-CAD / 2D Drawings Change Control.
  • After the initial release of configurations and baselines, all changes should be controlled.
• Drawing Office Configuration Status Accounting.
  • Record keeping and report generation relating to the status of the complete Electronic Data-Pack Assembly.
• Drawing Office Audits.
  • To assure the product complies with its specified requirements and to assure the product is accurately reflected by its configuration documents. 
     

Knowledge/Qualification & Experience

• Minimum 12 years in a Drawing Office including PLM programs.
• Minimum: 12 years Related Experience of Engineering industry.
• Comprehensive Experience in the Drawing office environment.  
• Experience in UAE or Middle East is desirable. 
• Relevant Mechanical Qualification.
• Relevant Trade will be an advantage.
• Minimum: High school graduate – Grade 12.
• Mechanical / Engineering back-ground.
• Preferred: Electrical Qualification – National Diploma (N6) – or equivalent.
• Knowledge of software E-CAD systems : (Altium) – Electronic Design & PCB Manufacturing.
• Knowledge of software CM system – Wind-chill 8,0 / SAP.
• MS Office  (Outlook, Access, Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of Zuken & Mentor Graphics.
• Knowledge of technical requirements e.g. best practice, E-CAD Design and 2D Drawings.
