Specialist Product Engineer

Working within our Product Management team, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering, manufacturing, quality, and commercial teams to transform innovative concepts into high-performance propulsion products. You will play an important role throughout the complete product lifecycle—from early concept development and engineering design through testing, certification, production, customer support, and continuous product improvement.

Key Responsibilities

As a Product Engineer II, you will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of propulsion products by:

• Contributing to the development and lifecycle management of advanced microjet propulsion systems.
• Supporting product strategy through technical analysis, engineering execution, and product requirement definition.
• Collaborating with engineering, R&D, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and commercial teams to ensure successful product development and introduction.
• Preparing and executing engineering work packages, product development plans, and technical validation activities.
• Supporting prototype assembly, testing, verification, and qualification to ensure products meet technical specifications, customer expectations, and quality requirements.
• Assisting with certification activities by preparing technical documentation, validation reports, and engineering evidence in accordance with applicable aerospace standards.
• Analysing product performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting engineering changes throughout the product lifecycle.
• Performing market and competitor analysis to understand emerging technologies, customer requirements, and industry trends.
• Providing technical support during customer meetings, proposal development, technical presentations, product demonstrations, and international industry exhibitions.
• Supporting business development initiatives by working closely with commercial teams to deliver technical solutions aligned with customer needs.
• Monitoring engineering deliverables, schedules, risks, and assigned project milestones while ensuring high-quality execution and timely delivery.
• Assisting in resolving technical challenges relating to propulsion systems, product integration, testing, and manufacturing.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in aerospace engineering, propulsion systems, product development, or related engineering environments.
• Experience supporting engineering projects through design, testing, validation, manufacturing, or product support.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering teams and cross-functional project environments.

Desired Skills:

• Master's degree or MBA.
• Experience with microjet engines, UAV propulsion systems, gas turbines, or aerospace propulsion technologies.
• Exposure to product certification activities and regulatory environments including FAA or EASA.
• Knowledge of aerospace product lifecycle management and systems engineering.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Project or similar engineering planning tools.
• Experience supporting customer-facing engineering activities or technical business development
