Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and industrialization of UAV manufacturing processes, focusing on efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with design, quality, production, programs, and supply chain teams to ensure product manufacturability and scalability.
- Participate in concurrent engineering initiatives and DFM (Design for Manufacturability) efforts during new product development.
- Estimate non-recurring costs for tools, process design, and capacity planning for manufacturing lines.
- Oversee documentation, including BOMs, WKIs, routing, tooling specifications, and ensure alignment with QMS standards (AS9100, ISO 9001).
- Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies to streamline production workflows.
- Support and mentor junior engineers, and provide technical guidance across departments.
- Collaborate with suppliers on tooling, composite manufacturing techniques, and production readiness.
- Drive root cause analysis, PFMEA, GD&T, and corrective actions to address manufacturing challenges.
- Participate in MRB processes and uphold quality standards throughout all phases of production.

- 5 - 7 years extensive experience in manufacturing engineering—preferably in aerospace or UAV domains.
- Strong background in composite manufacturing, integration, and testing.
- Familiarity with CATIA and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Knowledge of manufacturing standards such as ISO 9001 and AS9100.
- Experience in PFMEA, GD&T, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement tools (Lean, Kaizen).
- Solid understanding of quality assurance protocols and safety regulations for aerospace products.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving, planning, and communication skills.
Operating Environment
- 80% office-based, 20% factory environment.
- Must be adaptable to shifting priorities, with occasional travel and field support during UAV testing.
- High-performance culture with a focus on innovation, ownership, and collaboration.
