Role Purpose

This role is responsible for supplier selection, commercial negotiations, contract management, cost optimization, and ensuring security of supply. The successful candidate will develop purchasing strategies, drive savings initiatives, and collaborate with internal teams to improve procurement performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned categories.
• Lead RFQ/tender processes and supplier negotiations.
• Manage supplier selection based on cost, quality, delivery, and performance.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms.
• Monitor supplier performance and mitigate supply risks.
• Drive cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with engineering, supply chain, and internal stakeholders.

Experience and Education

• Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management and Procurement with 7 - 8 years of relevant experience in a similar role in automotive industry.
• Proven capability in sourcing, contracting and managing procurement processes.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence key business decisions.
• Agile and collaborative team player capable of interfacing effectively with suppliers and multiple internal teams.
