Job Title: Senior Specialist-International Relations
Key Accountabilities:
Project Concepts & Solutions
- Oversee and manage unique, high-priority initiatives accounts that stem out of international and government deals.
- Act as the primary point for special Accounts and project related opportunities to ensure clear and consistent communication throughout the project and its deliverables.
- Establish best practices for operational workflows tailored to the specific nature of each country’s business environment, ensuring compliance with EDGE Group guidelines and local laws.
- Engage with Internal stakeholders & external stakeholder to execute terms of International cooperation agreements
- Manage project from conception into completion ensuring it meet goals, timeline and involves the relevant teams & parties
- Engage with MOD and coordinate and facilitate International visits, opportunities and evaluations in order to maintain and build consistence relationship with the international customers and market.
Stakeholder Liason
- Serve as a primary point of contact for relevant internal stakeholders including department heads, project managers, and regional teams.
- Facilitate effective communication to ensure timely information flow and action on collaboration activities, addressing any potential bottlenecks or issues that arise.
- Organize regular cross-functional meetings to discuss progress, share insights, and align on goals.
Business Performance Engagement
- Work closely with the Business Performance team to define, track, and achieve performance metrics for international operations.
- Develop dashboards and reporting tools to monitor the success of international offices against established goals.
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by sharing best practices and lessons learned across international offices Monthly Reporting Management:
- Oversee the monthly reporting process, capturing key establishment activities such as:
- Legal Setup: Ensure all legal registrations, licenses, and permits are obtained in a timely manner.
- Budget Allocation: Monitor budget utilization and financial planning for new offices.
- Recruitment Activities: Track recruitment progress and ensure the timely onboarding of staff.
- IT Infrastructure: Collaborate with IT to establish necessary technology systems and support.
- Communications: Develop communication plans to inform stakeholders about office progress and updates.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of M&A opportunities, sales prospects, and government collaboration initiatives to inform strategic decision-making.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management detailing the progress of office setups, key performance indicators (KPIs), and any challenges encountered.
Experience & Education Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years in in a stakeholder management or Business development, or Engineering or PMO role for a large corporate
- Experience in UAE or Middle East is desirable
- Proven experience in stakeholder management, project management, engineering or a related area.
