Technician - Assembly

ADVANCED CONCEPTS is an entity within EDGE dedicated to the design and deployment of advanced, innovative technologies. ADVANCED CONCEPTS is fast-tracking the development of high-technology autonomous systems, including three Medium Endurance, High Altitude, fixed-wing unmanned aerial systems, a family of precision loitering munitions, a cost- effective family of cruise missiles, and a range of guided artillery munitions.

Core Accountabilities:
•    Perform mechanical assembly of precision parts, sub-assemblies, and complete systems based on engineering drawings and instructions.
•    Use hand tools, torque tools, and alignment instruments to assemble components to tight tolerances.
•    Conduct test fitting, adjustment, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems during prototyping.
•    Work closely with design and fabrication teams to ensure parts fit and function as intended.
•    Maintain assembly documentation, inspection records, and feedback reports.
•    Ensure tools and workstations are maintained and follow safety and housekeeping standards.
•    Assist in integration and testing of mechanical systems with electrical or hydraulic components, as required.

Qualification / Experience
•    High School Diploma Certificate    
•    Minimum 5 plus years experience maintaining or assembling one of these categories (Aircraft systems including drones or UAVs | Combustion engines | Pneumatic/hydraulic systems

•    Experience assembling aerospace, defense, or precision engineering products.
•    Skilled in handling mechanical tools, fasteners, fittings, and alignment procedures.
•    Understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, or electromechanical systems.
•    Functional competence in basic computer systems for administration purposes, email communications
