Role Purpose 

 

To deliver robust, accurate, and production‑ready test solutions by designing and maintaining Production Test Equipment that supports the successful manufacture of Al Tariq weapon systems.

 

Key Responsibilites 

•    Design, develop, build and commission Production Test Equipment and the accompanying test software for Al Tariq weapon production, in accordance with the Production Test Specification of the appropriate unit.
•    Implement Production Test Equipment design improvements, resolve electronic design related issues, and resolve component obsolescence.
•    Update Production Tests and/or Production Test Equipment (PTE) hardware to implement the Production Test Specification as stipulated by the System Engineer and/or Quality Assurance Officer. Ensure that the specification and the actual Production Tests are aligned.
•    Produce, configure in SAP and maintain the Production Test data pack. 
•    Ensure that the production tests and PTE hardware is aligned with the data pack as configured in SAP.
•    Perform preventative maintenance and provide continuous support to the Production Team by ensuring that the PTE is serviceable and performing production tests in accordance with specifications. Resolve issues with PTE in a timeous manner to minimize disruption and production down-time.
•    Perform ad-hoc tests on production items as requested by the appropriate design engineer. Compile, analyze and report the ad-hoc test results in work package format.
•    Conform to company COPPS and relevant/applicable DoD and MIL Standards.

 

Requirements 

 

Education 

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering 

 

Experience 

  • 10-15 years of Experience working with production test equipment in an electronics or manufacturing environment, including test development, maintenance, fault‑finding, and working to formal quality or military standards.
  • Proficient in National Instruments such as TestStand & LabView 
  • Specialized knowledge of production testing and instrumentation.
