The UAS Pilot carries out the duties and holds the responsibilities as (designated) UAS flight crew member under the command of the PIC.

Key Responsibilities

• Non- Operational Ground/Flight Activities: To maintain fleet serviceability and enhance UAS capability, GT, TT, FT, SIM and Equipment testing are to be carried out.
• Operational Flight Activities: To successfully comply with ADASI commitments, carrying out Internal and External Flight Operations, participating in national and international deployments.
• Maintenance of UAS Operational Currency: To maintain ADASI OPS Department operational status
• Performance of Miscellaneous OPS Tasks: To support ADASI commitments such as National/International Static and Flight Demonstrations.
• Generation/Maintenance of OPS Equipment Status System [Operational Equipment]: To provide management with visibility of equipment status
• Generate and provide input in regards to local and standard operating procedures: For purposes of risk mitigation, standardization and correct practice consistent within aviation, national /international regulations and aviation standard procedures.

Experience & Education

• Appropriate UAS category, class and type rating in accordance to the Pilot Currency Flight Syllabus.
• Preferably holds civilian/military manned/unmanned aviation Flight crew license [fixed/rotary wing] incl. Radio Communication license; Successful completion of Higher Technical College or UAE AF Air College.
• Successful completion of UAS Type Training and no less than 24 months System time as Junior Pilot on UAS category, class and type. Min of Class 4 English Proficiency Level.
