Key Accountabilities:

  • Administer the integration, preparation, acceptance testing, and qualification of the assigned precision guided munitions for ground (external field) testing, flight testing, platform integration and evaluation
  • Coordinate and execute the maintenance/update of the internal and external Electronic/Mechanical Interface Control Documents in cooperation with the development team and under guidance of the System Engineer
  • Act as the primary point of contact between Development Engineering and the Production facility regarding Electronic aspects and Mechanical interfaces
  • Generate and maintain Assembly/Disassembly instructions and procedures for the assigned product
  • Identify and specify prototype test equipment (both in laboratory and field)
  • Support the Production Test Equipment team by providing guidance on the implementation and use of Production Test Equipment
  • Support the Telemetry Team in the requirement and application of units in flight testing
  • Generate regular reports on risk/progress, prepare presentations and proposals of mitigation action
  • Train and mentor the team on electronic/mechanical integration, including prototype testing/evaluation and field testing


Experience & Education Qualifications:

  • 21 yrs. (NTC5), 17 yrs. (T3), 15 yrs. (T4/B.Tech) or 10 yrs. (M. Tech)
  • 10 years of relevant experience in development engineering environment of precision guided munitions


Key Skills:

  • Knowledge of best practices, applicable engineering standards and procedures within the defence industry
  • Knowledge of systematic fault finding and problem solving at subsystem and system level
  • System/subsystem/facility technical documentation
  • Thorough understanding of the systems engineering process. (Acceptance testing, qualification, field testing, flight testing)
