Key Accountabilities:

1. Strategic Warehouse Operations:

• Develop and execute strategies to optimize warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and distribution.
• Implement best practices for space utilization, inventory accuracy, and order processing efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align warehouse strategies with organizational goals.

2. Inventory Management and Optimization:

• Oversee inventory management processes, ensuring accurate stock levels, and minimizing excess or obsolete inventory.
• Implement strategies for efficient material flow, including storage, picking, and replenishment processes.
• Collaborate with procurement and production teams to optimize inventory levels based on demand forecasts.

3. Logistics and Distribution:

• Optimize distribution processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
• Collaborate with logistics providers to streamline transportation, reduce lead times, and improve overall supply chain efficiency.
• Implement logistics software and technologies to enhance visibility and tracking.

4. Safety and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and industry best practices in warehouse operations.
• Implement safety training programs and conduct regular safety audits.
• Collaborate with regulatory bodies to stay informed about and adhere to changing safety requirements.

5. Team Leadership and Development:

• Lead and mentor a team of warehouse and logistics professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular training programs to enhance the skill set of the warehouse team.
• Drive employee engagement and create a positive working environment.

Experience & Education Qualifications:

• Minimum of 12 years of experience in warehouse and logistics management, preferably within the defense or aerospace industry.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with a focus on creating efficient and high-performing teams.
• In-depth knowledge of safety and compliance standards in warehouse operations.
• Proficiency in logistics software and technologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
