Key Accountabilities:
- Assist in implementing and maintaining safety guidelines, procedures and policies within the organization
- Inspect work area premises for hazardous elements; record and report safety and environmental issues to the HSE Engineer
- Support HSE Engineer in performing safety audits, visits, and environmental assessments for worksites
- Assist in conducting Risk Assessments to evaluate HSE hazards based on Severity, Likelihood, Exposure and Frequency; and developing mitigation plans
- Collaborate with departmental heads in initiating and implementing safety processes and measures in work areas
- Assist with accident management and prevention including investigation of environmental accidents in regards to project site, operations, job tasks and equipment
- Gather and disseminate incident details, near-misses, recommendations and trends
- Input and maintain data and statistics related to company-wide accidents and incidents
- Assist in ensuring and monitoring regulatory issues
- Maintain internal and external reporting, such as incident notifications, incident rate reporting, and legal/regulatory reporting
- Support HSE Engineer in delivering safety awareness education to new joiners and safety trainings for the employees
- Coordinate with TIP to review and approve the gate pass application for chemicals or any Hazard material
- Co-ordinate with TIP HSE regarding any HSE related issue/incident
- Support various HSE projects and activities, as required
Experience & Education Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Professional diploma or Certification in Occupational HSE/Process Safety/ Risk Management
- 2+ years of relevant experience in a similar field
- Experience in a manufacturing and defence industry
