Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop standards of production and determine manufacturing processes, workforce requirements, bottlenecks and capacity calculation by using statistical and mathematical tools and methods
  • Review quality control systems and activities to resolve problems, maximize product reliability, and minimize cost
  • Design and review procedures and production standards for operations and product realization in a cost-effective manner in cooperation with management and user personnel
  • Review and actively participate in developing tooling and fixture concepts for the required manufacturing part
  • Prepare/modify drawings, specifications, calculations, charts, graphs, etc. as per the expected standards of engineering practices
  • Draft and design the layout of equipment, materials, and workspace using drafting tools and computer to illustrate maximum efficiency and lean production
  • Develop manufacturing benchmark and utilize Six Sigma / Lean production methodologies to demonstrate continuous improvement
  • Advise and communicate best business practices to the customers using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles
  • Ensure that all processes and procedures in Manufacturing adhere to the customer and quality standards
  • Develop PLM processes and concepts for effective collaboration and improved manufacturing efficiency, ensuring the management of the entire lifecycle of a product from its conception, through design and manufacture, to service and disposal
  • Participate in the implementation of ergonomic improvements
  • Manage and develop subordinates by providing functional guidance, reviewing their performance, identifying development needs and supporting them with relevant training

 

Experience & Education Qualifications:

  • High Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related discipline
  • 5 years of experience as Industrial Engineer in aerospace / manufacturing environment
