CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES   

 MRP Management:


o Oversee the development and execution of the MRP process to ensure the timely availability of materials and components needed for production.
o Analyze production schedules, inventory levels, and material requirements to generate accurate MRP outputs.
o Adjust and update MRP schedules based on changes in production needs or lead times.
o Create material coding in order to ease the PR creation and material controlling
o Lead the MRP team to ensure timely PRs creation to meet the production demand
o Coordinate with sales for customer direct purchase
o Coordinate the quality issues with Suppliers/QC/Procurement  
o Participate in supplier evaluation 

 

Inventory Control:


o Maintain optimal inventory levels by analyzing stock levels, material lead times, and supplier performance.
o Ensure accurate forecasting and tracking of raw materials and parts to prevent shortages or overstocking.
o Coordinate with warehouse team to ensure availability of space to store the incoming materials 

 

 Collaboration with Production & Supply Chain:


o Work closely with production teams to align material requirements with the production plan.
o Liaise with procurement teams to ensure timely purchase of materials based on MRP outputs and production needs.
o Collaborate with suppliers /logistics to ensure on-time deliveries and resolve any supply chain issues.

 

 Data Analysis and Reporting:


o Analyze production data and MRP reports to identify inefficiencies, shortages, or opportunities for improvement.
o Provide reports to management on MRP performance, material availability, delivery schedule and inventory status.
o Develop and maintain MRP metrics to support continuous improvement initiatives.

 

 Problem-Solving and Issue Resolution:


o Identify and resolve any material shortages, delays, or production disruptions caused by supply chain issues.
o Work cross-functionally to implement corrective actions and prevent recurring issues.

 

 Continuous Improvement:


o Support initiatives to enhance MRP processes, data accuracy, and material flow.
o Participate in training and development programs to stay current on best practices and MRP system advancements.
 

                                                

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Certification in APICS (CPIM, CSCP) or similar supply chain certifications is a plus.

 

KEY SKILLS

  •  Strong understanding of MRP, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
  • Proficiency in using MRP software, spreadsheets (Excel), and other data analysis tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external suppliers.
