Key Responsibilities

• To perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of CNC machines and related equipment, ensuring maximum uptime, reliability, and precision in production operations.
• Carry out preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance of CNC machines, machining centres, and supporting equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control system faults.
• Respond quickly to machine breakdowns to minimize downtime and production loss.
• Perform calibration, alignment, and accuracy checks to maintain machining precision.
• Support the installation, setup, and commissioning of new CNC machines and equipment.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, spare parts usage, and breakdown history.
• Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, standards, and company maintenance procedures.
• Assist in managing spare parts inventory.

Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/ Mechatronics or equivalent.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            
• Knowledge of in both mechanical and electrical systems is desirable.
• Knowledge of TPM, lean maintenance and ERP systems.
• Hands-on knowledge of CNC controls (Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenheim) 
• Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years experiences as a Maintenance Technician in Aerospace, Defence and Oil & Gas industry is desirable
