Job Purpose

In this role as Manager – Hardware Development, you will build, test and modify product prototypes, develop and implement designs and provide support to other team members to ensure compliance to time-frame, quality, and cost targets

Key responsibilities 

• Work closely with HW line Manager and support HW development life cycle from design, testing, release planning to release review and go-to-market.
• Design and update HW EE design and system architecture, verification, specification, feasibility studies and documentation.
• Collaborate with HW, SW, and system test teams to verify, validate HW designs and unit and system-level performance.
• Work with ODM / 3rd party co-operation, maturity follow-up, review and issue tracking, authoring HW EE product requirements for ODMs and other partners
• Ensures that the HW design is compatible with the latest and upcoming OS, Middleware and driver batched.
• Organize support for internal teams and stakeholders in regards to HW EE (SW, ID, UX, and Marketing etc.)
• Build and test prototypes and create test plans and drive design Verification Testing and follows testing processes, procedures to ensure reliability, accuracy
• Contribute to concept development as part of internal cross-functional design teams, including prototyping and production support.
• Prepare high-quality formal engineering documentations such as drawings, presentations, specifications, design presentations
• Works together with and maintains an attitude of commitment through outward display of willingness. Suggest ways and implement them to improve Agile testing practices

Education and minumum qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalet

8-10 years of experience from telecommunication device HW development
