We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Program Director to oversee technical project management of hand-held wireless communication products including public mobile radios/military radios and/or 4G/5G handsets. Proven experience in leading multidisciplinary teams including RF hardware, baseband hardware, FPGA/Processor programming and mechanical engineering is essential. Good Knowledge of wireless communications standards and protocols, RF system design and digital signal processing and experience working with geographically dispersed multi-cultural teams.

This role is pivotal in managing the lifecycle of wireless projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Program Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and external stakeholders, to drive successful project outcomes and align with our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution:
•    Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets.
•    Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that align with company goals and customer requirements.
•    Coordinate with engineering and technical teams to ensure wireless product development aligns with project specifications and technical standards.

Stakeholder Management:
•    Serve as the primary point of contact for all wireless communication related matters, communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
•    Engage with clients, partners, and internal teams to understand their needs and address any issues or concerns promptly

Risk Management:
•    Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project impact.
•    Monitor project progress, making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful delivery.

Resource Management:
•    Allocate resources efficiently, including personnel, budget, and equipment, to ensure project success.

•    Collaborate with HR and management to recruit, onboard, and manage project team members. 
•    Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
•    Track project performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
•    Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders

Process Improvement:
•    Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes.
•    Conduct post-project evaluations and provide recommendations for future projects.

Key Metrics:

•    Utilization & resource management.
•    Resource forecasting (within 10% accuracy).
•    Time Sheets of all resources on assigned projects submitted and approved weekly. 
•    Own timesheets submitted weekly.
•    Invoices GR weekly. 
•    Issue Escalation from clients to management (12hrs).
•    Productivity & quality improvement (10%).

Key Metrics delivered to CEO Office

•     Timely EPM Updates. (COB on Friday)
•    Project plan update (% completion)
•    Status update
•    Risks and Issues update

•     Change orders, if applicable
•     EPM Cost plan update.
•    Cost Overrun before approval requested ($ 0). 
•     Process compliance (100%).
•     Change Orders bookings 
•    Fully Prepared for Project reviews (100%).
•    Project Reports submitted in time 
•    Run CEO reviews (Bi-weekly projects’ status) including minutes of meeting and action tracking
•    Attend EDGE Project review meetings 

Experience and Education Qualification

•    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, electrical engineering, related field or equivalent experience.

•    Over 10 years of experience in technical project management of hand held wireless communication products including public mobile radios/military radios and/or 4G/5G handsets.
•    Proven experience in leading multidisciplinary teams including RF hardware, baseband hardware, FPGA/Processor programming and mechanical engineering
•    Good Knowledge of wireless communications standards and protocols, RF system design and digital signal processing
•    Experience working with geographically dispersed multi-cultural teams

•    Strong leadership skills and ability to influence with a prevailing positive approach. Able to build strong partnerships across the organization to deliver the best outcomes.
•    Demonstrated ability to learn and leverage technical knowledge to effectively guide programs and teams.
•    Experience with JIRA, Confluence, MS Project preferred
