Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for driving sales by understanding and addressing the technical needs of customers in O&G and Defense industries.
- The role involves offering tailored solutions, providing technical expertise, and ensuring customer satisfaction through all phases of the sales process.
- Understand and present the technical aspects of products and solutions to customers in the Oil & Gas and Defense sectors.
- Costing of potential opportunities using your technical knowledge to produce and maintain RFQ's with internal stakeholders.
- Develop and deliver technical presentations and proposals to potential clients, demonstrating how products meet customer requirements.
- Provide technical support and guidance throughout the sales cycle, from initial consultation to after-sales service.
- Identify customer needs and work closely with engineering teams to develop customized solutions.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities within the Oil & Gas and Defense sectors;
- Analyze competitor offerings and market trends to develop strategies for positioning products effectively
- Collaborate with Business Development Director and senior specialist (NAS) to develop targeted campaigns and materials;
- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve or exceed revenue targets;
- Oversee the implementation of solutions, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget;
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to manage project timelines and address any technical issues that arise;
Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Management or a related field.
- Member of a marketing professional membership is preferable
Experience
- 8 -10 years of experience in a customer facing Sales management role, Oil & Gas and defense markets are preferable.
- Sound awareness of OEM/Tier1 development processes, requirements and expectations
- Capability of interacting with external, international environments
