Job Summary:

A professional to provide a Test equipment development capability in HALCON Systems Development Engineering Division.

Key Accountabilities:

• Provide an in-house development capability, such as test equipment, tools jigs fixtures and automation, in order to support Development programs.
• Attend design reviews in order to influence the testability of the designs and products.
• Interpret test specifications and procedures (in both hardware and software) in order to develop and produce test equipment for validation and qualification of products.
• Gain product and design intent knowledge for know-how transfer to form a bridge between development and production.
• Mentor and task technicians in order to build Development and Production Test Equipment.
• Lead Technicians to facilitate projects and perform responsibilities designated by Development engineering.

Experience & Education Qualifications:

• At least 10 yr (Engineering diploma), of related experience, preferably, in the aerospace industry.    
• Engineering diploma and/or equivalent technical qualification in electronics or aerospace engineering
• Working knowledge in the broad spectrum of electronic engineering as related to product acceptance testing and test equipment development and manufacturing.
