Key Accountabilities:
- Perform the Systems Engineering tasks required during the project and the relevant product’s life cycle phases. Typical tasks include:
- Interpreting and/or generating User Requirements Statement documentation
- Developing Concept of Operation documentation
- Generating System, Production and Sub-system Development Specifications or Technical Descriptions
- Performing architectural and function breakdown and design of the system or product
- Performing technical trade-off analysis and documenting the process, analysis and results
- Preparing System Engineering Master Plans
- Preparing Test and Evaluation Master Plans
- Generating system Acceptance Test Procedures
- Generating system Qualification Plans and generate Qualification Reports
- Define requirements and success criteria for system and design reviews. Present and/or participate in the performing and approving design reviews
- Generate Work Breakdown Structure and relevant Scope of Work statements for execution, management and control of technical tasks associated with a project
- Review and approve technical documentation generated by team members
- Arrange and manage technical work-sessions and team discussions
- Identify shortcoming and propose improvement in company procedures related to the project execution
- Perform technical management of a project team and execution of technical activities, such as verification and validation testing
- Provide coaching, guidance and supervision to newly appointed junior systems engineers
Experience & Education Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or Master’s degree in an engineering discipline or engineering management
- Three years’ experience in a relevant engineering position and preferably related to the military industry
- Experience during studies and internships
