About the role

We are seeking a Quality & Compliance Engineer to support quality management, laboratory compliance, and testing activities within a highly regulated technical environment. This role is responsible for ensuring adherence to internationally recognized quality standards, maintaining audit readiness, and supporting accurate, traceable, and repeatable testing processes.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain laboratory SOPs, forms, records, and controlled documentation.
  • Ensure testing, calibration, and evaluation activities comply with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
  • Manage quality, information security, health & safety, and compliance risk registers.
  • Support document control, records retention, and secure data management processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data analysis and process improvement methods.
  • Set up, calibrate, and operate laboratory test equipment according to approved procedures.
  • Execute testing activities and accurately record results and supporting evidence.
  • Identify anomalies, support root-cause investigations, and implement corrective actions.
  • Participate in internal audits, proficiency testing, and accreditation activities.
  • Maintain calibration records, traceability documentation, and audit-ready laboratory files.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Applied Science, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality, compliance, testing, calibration, or laboratory environments.
  • Hands-on experience working within an ISO/IEC 17025 quality management system.
  • ISO/IEC 17025 Internal Auditor training or certification.
  • Experience supporting audits, accreditation activities, and corrective action management.
  • Knowledge of laboratory testing equipment, calibration processes, and measurement traceability.
  • Strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
