External Job Description
The Logistics Specialist is responsible for executing and coordinating domestic and international logistics activities to ensure the timely, compliant, and cost-effective movement of materials and finished products across Pulse Nova's operations.
Working closely with Warehouse, Planning, Procurement, Production, and external logistics partners, the Logistics Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining material availability, supporting production continuity, and driving efficient, reliable supply chain operations within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage inbound and outbound shipments, coordinating carriers, freight forwarders, warehouse and internal stakeholders to support production priorities
- Prepare, validate and control shipping and customs documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates, permits), ensuring full regulatory compliance
- Track shipments end‑to‑end, proactively identify delays and execute mitigation actions (re‑routing, expedites, alternative carriers)
- Coordinate deliveries to align with warehouse receiving capacity, material staging and production sequencing, minimizing disruption and cost impact
- Support logistics execution for finished goods distribution and internal transfers, ensuring on‑time and compliant delivery
- Ensure correct packaging, labeling and handling for sensitive, serialized or controlled items, in line with internal standards and carrier requirements
- Monitor logistics KPIs (OTD/OTIF, transit time, cost, incidents) and support continuous improvement based on root‑cause analysis
- Support inventory and logistics alignment with Warehouse, Planning and Supply Chain teams, ensuring accurate ERP/WMS transactions and documentation
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years in logistics roles within manufacturing or industrial operations with international shipment exposure
- Experience coordinating freight forwarders, carriers and customs processes in regulated or defense environments
- Working knowledge of Incoterms and export/import compliance fundamentals; controlled items or DG awareness is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities under time pressure, coordinating across warehouse and production interfaces
- ERP/WMS exposure is a plus, with disciplined approach to data accuracy and shipment documentation
- Experience in UAE logistics operations and defense sector requirements is preferred
