External Job Description
The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for executing and coordinating daily warehouse operations to ensure accurate inventory control and the timely flow of materials supporting Pulse Nova's manufacturing activities.
The role oversees receiving, storage, picking, kitting, line feeding, and inventory accuracy while ensuring compliance with warehouse procedures, traceability, and defense industry standards. Working closely with Production, Planning, Logistics, and Quality, the Warehouse Specialist plays a key role in maintaining operational efficiency, material availability, and data integrity across the supply chain.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inspection handoff, put‑away, storage, picking/kitting and line feeding in support of production
- Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, discrepancy investigation and root cause elimination, driving corrective actions to closure
- Maintain warehouse governance and compliance standards (FIFO/FEFO, ESD controls, shelf‑life management, controlled items storage, quarantine/blocked stock)
- Coordinate material staging and availability with Production Planning, Logistics and Team Leaders to ensure smooth execution against priorities
- Manage packaging preparation and internal dispatch for production supply, finished goods, returns and inter‑site transfers, ensuring correct labeling and documentation
- Execute WMS/ERP warehouse transactions with high accuracy and timeliness, ensuring location discipline, data integrity and record completeness
- Monitor warehouse KPIs (inventory accuracy, picking errors, kitting OTIF, cycle count adherence) and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Support a safe and orderly warehouse environment by enforcing handling procedures, housekeeping (5S) and equipment usage rules
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years in warehouse roles within manufacturing or industrial environments, preferably in regulated or defense contexts
- Experience with WMS/ERP systems and disciplined inventory control processes
- Familiarity with traceability, handling and storage requirements for electronics/mechatronics or controlled materials
- Ability to coordinate multiple warehouse activities and priorities in a fast‑paced operational environment
- Forklift/license as required by local regulations (preferred)
